Europe Day
We organized our project meeting from 1.05.2011-12.05.2011 in Sofia, Bulgaria
We are participants from two schools: “Pencho P.Slaveikov “Comprehensive School N1, Sofia, Bulgaria and Kuva-yi Milliye Ilkogretim Okulu, Ancara Turkey.
Our activities for the Comenius week are:
2.05.2011- icebreaking games and interviews, toy making with paper - origami, kites and masks, 3.05.2011- toy making with metal and plastic; making bracelets, necklaces, earrings.
4.05.2011- toy making with natural materials/ glass, sand, shells/.
5.05.2011- field work, learning more about Bulgaria and its culture, religion and history
7.05.2011- sightseeing and learning more about the capital city.
8.05.2011- a school visit and learning more about ourselves; a visit at National Palace of Culture and watching the concert “Day of Europe”
9.05.2011 - school theatre and participation in the celebration in front of the National Theatre;
At school- dictionary presentations, and language games, stories of grandparents and parents, questionnaires, essays about favourite toys
10.05.2011 - a visit at the parliament, school concert, a visit at the inspectorate of education
11.05.2011- Presentation of the project website and the blog
